This grass green scroll, bordered in black, carries the word Peace above the kanji 平, held together by a teaching that begins small — to bring peace to the earth, first make peace of your own life. A quiet starting point, hung somewhere it can be returned to.
Made in the tradition of Balinese ritual textiles, the banner is hand screen-printed onto woven cotton and finished with wooden dowels top and bottom, hung by a length of black cord. Unroll it, hang it, and let it do its slow work.
